pinholes and gum prints: urban traces series

gum prints:

mixed media

image 10.5" x 10.5" approx

 £250 framed (19.4"square)

these works feature ghost signs painted on walls. they are meditations on the sites of these fossil remains from an earlier commercial era, as places of slow erasure or erosion of the narrative of the city. subverting the traditional understanding of images as representations of space, these photographs are concerned with dimensions of time.

each gum print is unique. only water and sunshine, instruments of erosion, have been used to print and develop them.
